Women In Defense Presents Lunch with D/NGA Long
February 19, 2014
Join the Greater Tampa Bay Chapter of Women In Defense for a unique opportunity to hear from NGA Director Letitia A. Long, the first woman to head a major U.S. intelligence agency.
Ms. Long will encourage women to embrace and step up to the serious challenges our world faces. She will offer insight into her own experiences and her commitment to a world where women succeed based on the content of their character and their contribution to the cause. Ms. Long will discuss the important lessons from role models and mentors that helped her become the first woman to direct a major intelligence agency. And she will emphasize the diversity of thought, the unique insights, and the passion for innovation that women bring to national security problems facing our world today. Finally, Ms. Long will challenge our generation and those that follow to step up, strengthen our common bonds, and defend our nation from its enemies and protect our freedom from its foes.
